Kevin L. Horlacher, 65, of Milton, formerly of Lewisburg died Monday, October 2, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born December 3, 1957 in Camden, NJ, a son of the late Marie C. (Stitzel) Horlacher and David E. Horlacher, who survives. On September 3, 1977 he married the former Ruth E. Conard, who survives. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Kevin was a 1976 graduate of Selinsgrove High School, where he excelled in running as a member of the cross country and track teams. He worked as a plumber and pipe fitter, beginning his career at D.O.W. Inc, and then working for Silvertip, Inc. both of Lewisburg.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mifflinburg and recently attended Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.
Prior to Kevin's lightening strike accident in 1991, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, bicycling, especially on their trip to Vermont, fishing, spending time with his family and playing with his kids. In his last 32 years of life, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his wife, grandchildren, family and friends, watching the Dallas Cowboy games, and spending time outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his step mother, Deb Horlacher, of Westford, Mass; three children, Kyle Horlacher, of Lewisburg, Tim (Maryssa) Horlacher, of Selinsgrove and Sarah (Jon) Clemens, of New Columbia; one brother, David (Barb) Horlacher, of Richmond, Vir.; two sisters, Dianne (Rick) Showers, of Lebanon and Carol (Frank) Rini, of Albany, NY; and eight grandchildren, Raelyn, Serena and Dakota Clemens, Dorothy, Kallen and Delilah Horlacher and Leona and Laurence Horlacher.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by an uncle, Stephen Horlacher.,
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 at Grenoble Funeral Home and Crematory, 308 Main St., Watsontown, where the memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Kevin’s name be made to Adapt Ability Inc., an organization to help provide bicycles to those with special needs, at www.adaptabilitybike.org.
