Aaron A. Yagel, 53, of Muncy, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at home with his family by his side.
Born October 1, 1971 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Ross David Yagel and Janet (Woodside) Shoemaker, who survives. On July 18, 2020 he married the former Diane Love, who survives. Together they celebrated 4 years of marriage.
Aaron attended Muncy School’s. He worked as a plumber for his father’s business, Plumbing Plus, and also provided transportation for New Concepts, Inc.
Growing up, Aaron was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy, and more recently attended New Life Church, Pennsdale.
Aaron had a lovable personality and always put a smile on family and friend’s faces with his humor. He also loved music and his yellow Ford Mustang.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are four children, Kayla (Christian) Yagel, of Hughesville, Krystina Yagel, of Williamsport, Logan Yagel, of Williamsport, and Ashton Yagel, of Muncy; one sister, Rene (Darren) Empie, of Muncy; two stepchildren, Kara (Riley) Fulger, of Montgomery and Benjamin Fulger, of Muncy; three stepbrothers, Ryan Peterson, of Williamsport, Mark (Janet) Shoemaker, of Williamsport and Brett (Lynn) Shoemaker; one niece, Ashley Empie, of Muncy; and one nephew, Brandon Empie, of Muncy.
The family is planning a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church, 5471 Clarkstown Road, Muncy.
The family welcomes flowers, however, if desired, contributions in Aaron’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, online at www.cancer.org.
