Adam Christopher Williams, 37, of Alamosa, CO, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his home.
Born June 7, 1976 in Olean, NY, he was the son of John P. Williams, of Watsontown and the late Zolna F. (Makar) Williams.
Adam was a 1994 graduate of Gloversville High School, Gloversville, NY. He was pursuing a degree in Geography at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO, where he was also a Trustee, with plans to enroll in graduate school.
Adam will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor and his commitment to reason, fairness and tolerance. Among his many interests, he enjoyed reading and the outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his father are his step mother, Peggy Williams, of Watsontown; one sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and John Vacanti, of Brooklyn, NY; one niece; and many, many friends.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul A. Smith, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Watsontown, officiating.
Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
