Anthony Fornataro, 66, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, August 29 at home after a long illness. He was born on March 18, 1951 in Hazleton, a son of Daniel and Lucy (Feeney) Fornataro, who survive him.

He leaves behind his wife Kathleen (Feist) with whom he shared fifty years of love, including forty-four years of marriage and the joy of two children, Edward and Matthew.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by Edward and his wife Heather Wiley who reside in Ouray, CO., and Matthew and his husband William Dooner who live in Washington, D.C. He is also survived by a brother, Daniel, who lives in McAdoo.

Fornataro graduated from Bucknell University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and he taught English on the secondary level for seven years.

Thereafter, he formed a business with his father, and spent the rest of his working career as president of Energy Technologies, Inc., of Drums.

Beyond his family, which was his first priority in life, Fornataro was an avid amateur outdoor photographer who tried to instill an appreciation of the natural beauty around us so that it would be preserved.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Transitions, P.O. Box 170, Lewisburg, PA 17837, the Eastern Union County Supplemental Food Program, The First Baptist Church, 51 South Third Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837 or the John S.
