Arthur G. Tritsch

Arthur G. Tritsch, 87, formerly of Pittsburgh, most recently of Lewisburg, died Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born February 23, 1935 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Arthur G. and Elizabeth (Van Gorder) Tritsch. On May 2, 1959 he married the former Dorothyann Hlavinka, who survives. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Arthur was a 1957 graduate of Lehigh University. He retired from a career in plant engineering and management at US Steel in Pittsburgh and later for other steel and automotive companies.

He was a longtime member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of South Hills, Whitehall.

Arthur enjoyed golfing and skiing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Eric Tritsch, of Millheim and Timothy Tritsch, of Manasquan, NJ; daughter, Ellen Brown, of West Henrietta, NY and five grandchildren, Gus, Huck, Anna, David and Ethan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Doris Hauer.

Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 1 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where the Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 with his son-in-law, Pastor Mark Brown, officiating.
