Barbara E. Moore, 78, of Muncy-Exchange Road, Muncy, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at her home.

Born April 6, 1938, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Gloris (Gardner) Hill. Barbara and her husband, Frank D. Moore, were married 38 years before his death on April 17, 1996.

She was a 1957 graduate of Hughesville High School.

Barbara enjoyed crocheting and working plastic canvas needlepoint projects.

Surviving are five sons, Spurgeon D. Moore, of Watsontown and daughter-in-law, Sherri Moore, of Muncy, Gary L. Moore, Joseph L. Moore and Steven L. Moore, all of Muncy and Robert E. Moore, of Muncy and daughter-in-law, Jamie, of Hughesville; two sisters, Betty Staggert and her husband Clint, of Pennsdale and Helen Kinney, of Duboistown; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Hill, of South Williamsport; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Dennis and Jim Hill; one sister, Mary Walburn; and one step brother, Marvin Hill.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor James Savage of New Life Church, Pennsdale, officiating.

Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Barbara’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701, the S.P.C.A., 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701, or to the Lycoming County United Way, 33 West Third Street, Suite 201, Williamsport, PA 17701.
