Beverly T. Edwards

Beverly T. (McClintock) Edwards, 89, a life-long resident of Montgomery passed peacefully into the arms of her heavenly Father on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Milton Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born October 15, 1924 in Montgomery, she was the daughter of the late John I. and Hazel (Miller) Thomas. Beverly married William R. McClintock in 1946 and they celebrated 24 years of marriage until his death in 1970. She married her second husband, Rex E. Edwards, in 1989 and they celebrated 14 years of marriage until his death in 2003.
Beverly was a 1942 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School. She retired from the former Northern Central Bank, Montgomery, where she worked as a teller.
Beverly was a member of the Clinton Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Roberta McClintock, of Montgomery; two daughters and one son-in-law; Peggy A. Thompson, of Everett, WA and Susan M. and Henry Williams, of Liberty Hill, TX; six grandchildren; Douglas McClintock, Jeffrey McClintock, Sheila Thompson, Gina Thompson, Amy Williams and Shawn Williams; 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harlan P. Thomas and two sisters, Doris T. (Gruver) Yarger and L. Shirley (Baysore) Sampsell.
A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
