Catherine L. App

Catherine L. App, 95, of Muncy, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Arista Care at Loyalsock.

Born Oct. 18, 1924 in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Edith M. (Brown) App.

Catherine was a graduate of the Montgomery Clinton High School. She worked as a clerk at Waltman’s Meats, Williamsport, retiring in 1985.

She was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery.

Devoted to raising her family, Catherine enjoyed quilting later in life.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy McKee, of Millville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Roderick Fry, of Cogan Station and Donna and Lester Page, of AL; six grandchildren, Lora, Ashley, Cy, Lori, Sheri and Paul; ten great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Ryan, Marcus, Conner, Emma, William, Maya, Manasse,  Miranda and Devin; and one great-great-grandson, Ethan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Paul McKee.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at noon, with her pastor, the Rev. Theodore Cockley, officiating.

Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 196 Brick Church Rd., Montgomery, PA 17752.
