Chad D. Bowersox, 37, of Watsontown, died Tuesday, July 15 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born March 31, 1977 in Mechanicsburg, a son of the late Byron Bowersox and Vicki (Shannessy) Bowersox, of Watsontown.

Chad was a 1995 graduate of Warrior Run High School.

He worked for Dynamic Surface Applications, Pennsdale.

Chad was known and loved by many for his playful spirit and larger than life personality. His presence always resulted in laughter and made him a real crowd pleaser when hanging out with family or friends. This gift was only closely matched by his generous spirit and willingness to befriend anyone. His love for outdoor activity was clear as he could often be found on a motorcycle, a four wheeler or, his favorite, a snowmobile.

Chad 's ultimate love was that of his three year old daughter. She was quick to evoke pure delight from him as evidenced from the smile on his face and roll of laughter that quickly followed.  Although gone too soon, Chad was a model for each of us blessed to have known him. A model of what a life well lived should look like, full of laughter, love and much, much fun!

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Alivia Nicole Gresh and her mother Bethanie, of Danville; two brothers, Kurtis Bowersox, of West Milton and Jason Bowersox, of Watsontown; and a nephew, Christian.

A celebration of life service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at the Washingtonville Fire Hall, 19 Strawberry Ridge Road, Danville, PA 17821.

The family suggests contributions in Chad's name be made to the Chad Bowersox Memorial Fund to help support his daughter, Alivia.  Please make checks payable to Turbotville National Bank and specify the fund in the memo.   Checks can be mailed to Turbotville National Bank, 4710 State Rt. 54, Turbotville, PA 17772.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
