Clark Maurice Marks, Sr.

Clark Maurice Marks, Sr., 81, of 264 Huff Rd., New Columbia, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born March 10, 1933 in White Deer Township, a son of the late Clark and Beryl (Ranck) Marks. On March 21, 1953 he married the former Stella Lloyd, who survives. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Maurice attended Milton High School. He worked for the former Derr Brothers Electric, Lewisburg and later retired from the former J.P.M. Industries, Lewisburg.

He enjoyed attending car auctions with his son, Bill, and loved John Deer tractors.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Wendy Marks, of Lewisburg and Bill and Lucinda Marks, of Mifflinburg; one daughter-in-law, Terry Marks, of Lewisburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Van and Kathy Marks, of New Columbia; one sister and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Alfred Foley, of Sicklerville, NJ; one half brother, Ralph Gordon, of Northumberland; two half sisters, Kathy Weaver and Donna Hafer, both of Mifflinburg; four grandchildren, Dan Marks and wife Michelle, Will Marks and wife Claressa, Sarah and Emily Marks; four step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Clark “Butch” Marks, Jr.; one brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Eve Marks; one sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Jasper Ocker and one nephew, Jasper Ocker, Jr..

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
