Constance Timm passed away on December 12, 2024.
Connie was born March 29, 1944 in Elizabeth, NJ. She grew up in Long Valley, NJ, where her family moved after her birth.
She was a graphic designer who created numerous publications in her career. Through her vision she leaves behind a legacy of stunning work. Her artistic elegance was matched by her personal style.
Connie was married to painter and Bucknell professor Neil Anderson, who preceded her in death. They were married for 53 years. Throughout their marriage they traveled many places, including Japan, Brazil and Europe.
They lived in a unique house perched on the edge of a steep forested hill. From its interior it appeared you were in a multi-level tree house. Connie lived as she worked with an incredible sense of design.
She received a B.A. in English from Bucknell University and studied at the New School of Design in New York. She owned the design and advertising company, The Market Street Group.
For 10 years Connie was the president of the Lewisburg Arts Council. She was a frequent contributor to the Merrill W. Linn Land & Waterways Conservancy.
Connie’s passion as an equestrian equaled her love of art. She began riding while in high school and continued throughout her life.
Her parents, Edburt L. and Ruth S. Timm of Long Valley, NJ preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister, Janet Timm Gillson and her husband, Bill, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. Neil Anderson’s sons, Ben Anderson, Barrington, RI, Joel Anderson, Santa, CA and Eric Anderson, Westchester, CA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
