Daphne L. Brinser, 69, of 2381 Rt. 405 Highway, Muncy, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born March 11, 1946 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Grayce (Laird) Frey. She and her husband, Ronald C. Brinser, were married 36 years before his death Nov. 23, 2009.
Daphne was a 1965 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked as an office administrator for Reeder Brothers Fuel Service, Hughesville. Previously, Daphne worked at Agway, Hughesville.
She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Muncy, where she served as a lector. She was also a member of the Church of the Resurrection Women’s Organization, and was a past president.
Daphne enjoyed camping and trips to the beach. Most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughter.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amy Brinser, of Hughesville; granddaughter, Teagan Brinser; sister, Laurie A. Knyrim, of Muncy; aunt, Mary Lou Hanson, of Endicott, NY; niece, Kelly Reigle, of Charlotte, NC; and nephew, Nicholas Seitzer, of Montoursville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Frey and William E. Frey, Jr.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a prayer service will be held at 4:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, with her pastor, the Rev. Glenn McCreary, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, PA 17756.
