Deborah A. Bushaw

Deborah A. Bushaw, 76 of Watsontown, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her residence.

Born December 17, 1947 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. Schaeffer and Mary K. (Fisher) Schaeffer, who survives.  On June 3, 1967 she married David Bushaw, who preceded her in death on December 6, 1993.

Deborah was a 1965 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She worked as a Home Inspector for Crest Homes for many years. She later worked as a waitress at Bonanza, where she retired.

Deborah enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She had a very outgoing personality and loved to make others laugh.  Deborah loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are one son David Bushaw, of Watsontown; two brothers, Terry Schaeffer, of Mifflinburg and Randy Schaeffer, of Watsontown; two grandchildren, Amber Anna Mae and Lincoln Craig.

In addition to her father and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Wendy Sue Little, Angela Dershem, and Holly Malone; one brother, Gary Fisher; and one brother-in-law, William Dershem.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
