Dennis C. Fausey, 65, of Muncy, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at home with his family by his side.
Born November 6, 1958, in Sunbury, he was a son of the late Donald E. Fausey and Anna L. (Foreman) Fausey, who survives. On February 17, 1980, he married the love of his life, former Judy Shue, who survives. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Dennis was a 1976 graduate of Selinsgrove High School. He worked for 32 years as a Regional Sales Manager for UTZ. He later worked as a Shipping Manager for Young Industries, retiring in 2022.
Dennis was a member of First United Methodist Church, Muncy, where he previously served as Council President.
He was involved in the Boy Scouts for many years as a leader, earning both Eagle Scout and the God and Country Award. Dennis was a passionate music fan with a large collection of records. He loved to play golf with his son and chess and collected many tools for his workshop. Dennis and his wife loved to travel and visited many countries and almost all the US states. He was also fond of cruises. Most importantly, Dennis loved his family and was a respectful leader who instilled positivity on everyone in his life. He made it his life goal to help as many people as possible.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two children, Benjamin Fausey and his wife, Carolyn, of Hanover, and Nichole Wilcox and her husband, Skylar, of Muncy; one sister, Anita Knoebel and her husband, Timothy, of Shamokin Dam; and six grandchildren, Hannah, Elijah, Adeline, Natalie, Lauren and Scott.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one brother, David Fausey.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 16 at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St. Muncy, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will take place in the First United Methodist Church Columbarium.
