Dennis J. Shadle

Dennis J. Shadle, 71, of Elimsport, passed away peacefully in the afternoon hours of November 15, 2024, on his family farm surrounded by family and friends.

He was born May 20, 1953, in Williamsport, a son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Voneida) Shadle.

Dennis was a graduate of Montgomery High School and worked his entire life on the family farm.

He was a proud father, brother, uncle and friend. Dennis enjoyed hunting, farming and humoring all those around him. He was given the gift of gab, and wasn’t afraid to use it. Dennis felt most at home sharing his stories of life and laughter for all those to hear.

Surviving are one daughter, Tasha Shadle, of Newtown; one son, Nathan Shadle, of Nisbet; two brothers, Glen Shadle and his wife, Nancy, of Elimsport, and Paul Shadle and his wife, Bonnie, of N.C.; one sister, Donna Satteson and her husband, Bart, of Elimsport; and many nieces and nephews whom he greatly cared for.

Celebration of life services will be announced at a later date.
