Derwin H. Krouse, 89, of Montandon, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born in Selinsgrove on December 8, 1932 a son of the late James and Blanche (Herman) Krouse. On November 24, 1956 he married his wife, the former Ida Mae Fisher, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2007. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Derwin served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He retired from the former Chef Boyardee and American Home Foods, now Con Agra, Milton.
Derwin was an avid antique collector, well known locally within that community.
He is survived by one son, Gregory Krouse, of Ft. Wayne, IN; one daughter-in-law, Linda Fisher, of Penns Creek; one brother-in-law, Charles (Donna) Fisher, of Lewisburg; one sister-in-law, Doris Lukens, of Mifflinburg; and two grandchildren, Richard Fisher, of Penns Creek and Esther Fisher, of Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents and wife, Derwin was predeceased by one brother, Raymond Krouse; and one stepson, Larry Fisher.
Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, PA.
