Dixie L. Jamison

Dixie L. Jamison, 68, of Montgomery, died Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

She was born May 24, 1953 in Muncy, a daughter of the late Oliver R. and Anna E. (Golder) Chestnut.  In 1989 she married Harold G. Jamison, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Dixie was a 1971 graduate of Hughesville High School. She most recently worked for Wundies, Inc., Williamsport.

She loved cooking, knitting, gardening and traveling to Elk County to see the elk, Canada and Florida.

Most importantly, Dixie loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Courtney.

Surviving are two sons, Sean (Holly) Jamison, of Montgomery and Brian (Dawn) Jamison, of Dickson, CA; two step children, Aleatha Mae “Lettie” Clemens, of Millmont and Harold (Patti) Jamison, Jr., of Winfield; significant other, Ben Jamison, of Montgomery; two sisters, Carol (Rick) Sheets, of Muncy Valley and Jane Gingher, of NC; three grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota and Courtney and eight step grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
