Domingo Baez, 84, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 4, 1933 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. On August 10, 1963, he married the former Carmen Santiago, who survives. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Earlier in life, Domingo loved playing baseball. Most recently he enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid fan of the New York Mets.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and her companion, Carmen Baez and Jesus Ortiz, of Lewisburg; a brother, Salvador Baez, of Guayama, Puerto Rico; a grandson, Wilfredo DeJesus; and a daughter-in-law, surviving wife of John Baez, Rosa Baez, of Queens, NY.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, John U. Baez.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.
