Donald R. Ulrich

Donald R. Ulrich, 68, of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home.
He was born January 9, 1946 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Lear F. Ulrich and Ruth (Ruhl) Ulrich Guffey. On January 6, 1973 he married the former Connie Albeck, who survives. Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Donald was a 1964 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He retired in 2005 from the former American Home Foods, now ConAgra, Milton.
He was of the Lutheran Faith.
Donald was a member of the American Legion Post 410, Moose Lodge #1396 and VFW Post 1964, all of Mifflinburg. He was also a member of American Legion Post 71 and VFW Post 1665, both of Milton.
He loved camping, hunting and gardening. Donald enjoyed watching Penn State football and NASCAR.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, David Ulrich, of TN; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Bob and Edna Ulrich, of Northumberland, and Kenneth and Richard Ulrich, both of Lewisburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley Ulrich and Janet and Carlos Dabila, all of Lewisburg; one grandson, Robert Fausey; one great-grandson, Landon Fausey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Steven Ulrich.
Friends will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second street, Lewisburg, where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with pastor Ricky Phillips, Evangelical Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
