Donna D. Pinter

December 6, 1939 — September 11, 2020

Donna D. Pinter, 80, of Lewisburg, died suddenly of a coronary aneurysm on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born December 6, 1939 in Bay Shore, NY a daughter of the late Paul and Alice Krewedl. On March 20, 1964 she married Charles Pinter, who survives.  Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Donna graduated from Bay Shore High School and received her undergrad degree from Skidmore College, both of NY.  She later earned her PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Donna was the owner and clinical director of Psychological Services Clinic, Sunbury.

She was a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) and the American Psychological Association (APA).

Donna was well known for authoring numerous columns and articles in psychology journals.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Adrian Pinter, of Lewisburg, and Andres, Marco and Nicholas Pinter, all of California; and numerous grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19 in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

A memorial service is also being planned to be held on the campus of Bucknell University and will be announced at a later date.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
