Dorothy Fae Reynolds

Dorothy Fae Reynolds, 91, of 101 Reynolds Rd., Muncy, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at RiverWoods, Lewisburg, where she resided for the past four years.

Born April 17, 1924 in Montgomery, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Myrtle M. (Waltman) Searles. She and her husband, Edward T. Reynolds, celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death Sep. 30, 1997.

Dorothy was a 1942 graduate of the Montgomery/Clinton High School. She and her husband owned and operated Reynolds Tree Farm, Muncy for 50 years, where she enjoyed making fresh green Christmas wreaths.

She was a 69-year member of the First United Methodist Church, Muncy.

Dorothy loved baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and preparing for holiday celebrations.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Frank Saner, of Lewisburg, Joyce Beaver, and Barbara and John Pick, all of Watsontown; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sherrill Reynolds, of Muncy; six grandchildren, Brian Pick, Gwen Beiler, Jodie Lefebvre, Angela Hoover, Timothy Beaver and Nathan Reynolds; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Larue Searles and Robert Searles, Jr. and a son-in-law, Larry Beaver.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Arlene Beechert, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
