Duane H. Miller, 64, of Middleburg, died Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at his home.

Born May 7, 1960 in Watsontown, he was a son of the late LeRoy Miller and Nancy (Walker) Miller, who survives, of Watsontown.  On December 22, 2006 he married the former Caroline Westhall, who survives.  Together they celebrated 17 years of marriage.

Duane attended Warrior Run High School. He served in the United States Army and Reserves, where he worked as a helicopter mechanic. Duane also worked in tech support at Compuware Technologies and did computer programming independently.

He had interest in geology and searching for fossils. In his spare time, Duane enjoyed tinkering with electronics.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two sons, Marcus Miller, of Maine and Jonathan Miller, of New Hampshire; step son, Tyler Kemper, of Winfield; brother, Rodney Miller, of Watsontown; sister and brother-in-law, Sabrina and Stephen Pasko, of Dallas; and two grandchildren, Gracie and Kinsley.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one brother, Mitch Miller.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 at First Lutheran Church, 400 Main St. Watsontown with Vicar Amy Shuck, officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Watsontown cemetery.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
