Edna L. Stahley

Edna L. Stahley, 92, of Montandon, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.

She was born June 22, 1923 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Benival C. and Catherine L. (Straussner) Ross. Her husband of 61 years, Clinton E. Stahley, preceded her in death June 8, 2011.

Edna attended the former Hill School in rural Lewisburg.  She worked for 32 years as a Supervisor at the former JPM Industries, Lewisburg.

She formerly attended United in Christ Lutheran Church (Twin Churches) near Kelly Crossroads.

Edna loved going out to dinner and going on many road trips with her husband.  She also enjoyed cross stitching, attending family picnics and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Freda and William Sr. Tallman, of Mifflinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by eight sisters, Grace Snyder, Daisy Erb, Sarah “Aida” Ross, Pearl Koch, Nellie Musser, Mildred Kahler, Bertha Lohr and Alma Snyder.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg and again Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Mifflinburg Church of New Life, Intersection of Rt. 192 and Forest Hill Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Wagner, officiating.

Burial will follow in Church Hill Cemetery (Twin Churches).

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mifflinburg Church of New Life, 504 Whippoorwill Lane, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
