Edna L. Wertz

Edna Louise Wertz, 63, of 805 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Gatehouse.

Born September 18, 1951 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Drawbaugh and Marion (Forte) Plont, who survives. She married David Wertz, who preceded her in death in 1998.

Edna was a 1970 graduate of South Williamsport High School. She worked at Bi Lo in South Williamsport and was a clerk at various other stores. Edna also worked for herself cleaning houses.

Edna was an avid bingo player.

Surviving in addition to her mother, are a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kristina McKee, of Williamsport; a step son and his wife, David and Erica Wertz, of Williamsport; a step daughter, Shelly Wertz Sinicropi, of Williamsport; a sister & brother-in-law, Nancy and Tim Ondrako, of Virginia; a step brother and his wife, Lee and Jan Shaffer, of Williamsport; two grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon McKee; and a step granddaughter, Meadow Wertz.

In addition to her husband and father, she was predeceased by her step father, Robert Plont.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
