Elaine Von Voros

Elaine von Voros, 82, of Lewisburg, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Riverwoods.

Born August 6, 1931 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Myron and Isora Creasy.

Elaine was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

She was a member of Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, where she was active in the church sewing club. Elaine was also a member of a local bridge club.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Kathy von Voros, of Stockholm, NJ, Stephen von Voros, of San Diego, CA and John and Jane von Voros, of Austin, TX; and a brother-in-law, Richard Stephens and his wife Pat, of Bloomsburg.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased her first husband, Gerald Stevens; second husband, Geza von Voros; one brother, Richard Creasy; and one sister, Betty Gearinger.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 21 at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 S. Third Street, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. William S. Henderson, officiating. A luncheon will be held following the service at the Church.

Burial will follow the luncheon in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Elaine’s name be made to Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 S. Third St., Lewisburg, PA 17837.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
