Eleanor J. Kisner, 76, of Muncy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Born May 21, 1941 in Montour Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Edna (Voorhees) Simpson.  On April 23, 1985, she married Paul E. Kisner, and together they celebrated 26 years of marriage before his passing on January 1, 2012.

In her younger years, Eleanor worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Schuyler Hospital, NY.

She was a member of New Covenant Assembly of God, Montgomery, and lived her life as a very devoted Christian.

Eleanor loved gardening and taking care of her flower beds.  In her earlier years, she enjoyed volunteering and helping with charitable organizations.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lori and Joe Lepore, Tammy Peterson, and Sharon and Donald Perry; one sister, Jackie Case; six grandchildren, Steven Lepore, Alexander Lepore, Colton Peterson, Lyndsie Peterson, Robert Smith and Amanda Verducci; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one stepson, Danny Kisner; one stepdaughter, Brenda Munroe; one grandson, Jonathan; and five siblings, Genevieve Williamson, Ruthanna Vadala, Marlene Simpson, Gloria Hamrick and Harry Simpson.

Family and Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. with her pastor, Rev. James Pentz, officiating.

Burial will follow in Canby Lutheran Cemetery, Orangeville.
