Eleanor D. Kulp, 93, of Watsontown, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Watsontown Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 20, 1922 in Milton, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Botts) Walburn. On August 20, 1952, she married Sterling W. “Kulpie” Kulp and together they celebrated 62 years of marriage before his death on February 27, 2015.
Eleanor attended school in Milton. She, along with her husband, lived many years in Montgomery where they owned and operated the former Kulps Restaurant. They then moved to Muncy and owned the Log Cabin Inn. Later in life, Eleanor and Sterling made their home in Orlando and Oak Hills, FL.
She attended St. John's United Church of Christ, New Columbia.
Eleanor loved to host parties and travel with her husband. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family.
Surviving are three brothers, Harold Walburn, of Montgomery, Howard Walburn, of Exchange, and Eugene Walburn, of Muncy; one sister, Mary Macciocca, of Dewart; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five brothers, Alan, Elmer, Robert, William and Kenneth Walburn; and one sister, Hazel Walburn.
Friends will be received from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Social Hall of the Warrior Run Manor, 1105 Main Street, Watsontown, where a Memorial Service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Bonni Lucas, officiating.
Burial will be held privately in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
The family will provide flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 904 Old Rt. 15, New Columbia, PA 17856.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main Street, Watsontown.
