Elizabeth K. Shutt, 98, of 4106 New Columbia Rd., New Columbia, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home.
She was born February 16, 1920 in Delaware Township, the daughter of the late Mildred (Kreppenneck) Johnson and step daughter of the late Lewis C. Johnson. She married Donald W. Shutt Sr on September 12, 1940. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage before his death Jan. 10, 2004.
Elizabeth was a longtime member of Washington Presbyterian Church, Allenwood, where she taught Children's Sunday school and Bible school.
She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, jigsaw puzzles, word find books and reading.
Surviving are a son, LeRoy D. Shutt, of New Columbia; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Marcia A. and Archie Culver, Myra E. Cook and Julia A. Smith, all of New Columbia and Nancy J. and Phillip Dietrich, of Mifflinburg; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Donald W. Shutt Jr; three grandsons, Charles R. Cook, Adam Katherman and Leroy A. Culver; and great-grand triplets, Hayden, Madeline and Catlyn.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St.,, Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Evangelical Hospice, One Hospital Dr.,, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
