Elsie Mae Jenkins, 70, of 177 Port May Rd., Watsontown, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at her home.

She was born June 5, 1944 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Foster and Nora Viola (Delcamp) Beaver.  On November 24, 1962, she married Benjamin Jenkins, who survives. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Elsie was a 1962 graduate of Lewisburg High School.  She worked for over 20 years at Furmano's, Northumberland.

She was a member of Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, Milton, where she was a Sunday school teacher and very active for many years.

Elsie loved spending time with her family and working on word find puzzles.  She also enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crafts.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin "Buster" and Tracy Jenkins, of Milton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Deborah and Paul Shoemaker and Rebecca Jenkins, all of Watsontown; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Judy Beaver, of Watsontown; one sister, Mary Aikey, of Watsontown; one sister-in-law, Shirley Beaver, of Milton; four grandchildren, Brooke Jenkins, Amanda Nickelson, Tyler Jenkins and Andrew Nickelson; and three great-grandchildren, Cadyn Huffman, Ellie Nickelson and Vanessa Shultz.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Carl Beaver; one brother-in-law, Robert Aikey; and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Mae Nickelson.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with her minister,  Pastor Larry Keiser, officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
