Florence I. Winder, 78, of Milton, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born March 11, 1938 in Milton, a daughter of the late Arthur and Vernica (Allen) Bennett. On July 26, 1969, she married Lenwood Winder, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1981.
Florence enjoyed needlepoint, playing cards, playing Bingo, telling jokes, and making jewelry that she readily gave away to those that helped care for her. During her younger years, she loved camping and traveling with her cousin and best friend, Shelvia Neitz, of Milton. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Gary Lee Bennett and his wife Kim, of Florida; Ronald Winder, Alicia Ross-Steiger, Cathy Cupp and her husband, Michael, Mary Kay Aikey, Donna Winder, Shannon Bole and her husband, Nathan, all of Milton and Tammy Speece and her husband David, of Lewisburg; two sisters, Etta Gallaer and her husband, Skip, of Port Trevorton and Margaret Welty, of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, Scott Winder; one daughter, Nancy Marshall; one son-in-law, William Steiger; three brothers, Lewis, Michael and Wilburt “Jake” Bennett and three sisters, Mary Mckimcee, Caroline Ross and Rhoda Yothers.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
