George V. Fadule, Sr.

George V. Fadule, Sr., 64, of 2425 Shakespeare Rd., Milton, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his home.

He was born December 24, 1949 in Shenandoah, a son of the late Edward and Josephine (Ayash) Fadule.  On October 6, 2005 he married the former Candice K. Michael, who survives.  Together they celebrated nine years of marriage.

George attended Shenandoah Valley High School and graduated from McCann School of Business, where he studied computer technology.  He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. George was a self employed auto mechanic who enjoyed doing body work and painting.

He was a national member of the American Legion.

George enjoyed spending time at the Little Fishing Creek Rod and Gun Club, Millville, working on computers, watching John Wayne, and working in his garden.  George had a love for animals, especially camels.

Surviving in addition to his wife are seven sons, Michael, William, Mark, and David Fadule, all of Alabama, George Fadule, Jr., Joseph and Christopher Fadule, all of Missouri; five daughters, Malisia Rutherford, of Ringtown, Tammy Fadule, of Minersville, Christina Fadule, Aaron Fadule and Amy Fadule all of Missouri; two step-children, Kristi McCollum, of Northumberland and Franklin Snyder, of Berwick; one brother, Gary Fadule, of North Carolina; four sisters, Diane Vatalare, of Nevada, Tina Lawson, of Pottsville, Charlene Briggs, of Shenandoah and Debbie Clark, of Mahanoy City; 22 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Eddie Fadule; two sisters, Geraldine Fadule and Barbara Kenenitz; and one granddaughter, Isabella Fadule.

Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., with the Rev. James R. Taylor, Sun Home Hospice Chaplain, officiating.  Full military honors will be accorded following the service.

The family will provide flowers and suggests memorial contributions in George's name may be made to Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, PA 17837, to help the family with funeral costs.
