Gloria R. Perry

Gloria R. Perry, 81, of Muncy, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Valley View Nursing Home, Montoursville.

Born May 3, 1943 in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Fred Leroy and Ruth Catherine (Wilkinson) Smith. On June 15, 2017 she married Richard L. Bolton, who survives. Together they celebrated seven years of marriage.

Gloria was a 1961 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked as a secretary for Citi Group and Teamsters, from where she retired.

She was a member of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, Muncy. 

Gloria enjoyed gardening, walking and traveling. She loved animals, riding motorcycles and dancing. Gloria was a fan of Penn State football.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a niece, Deanna Wertz, of California.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Larry P. Smith, Sr. and a nephew, Larry P. Smith, Jr.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, at Picture Rocks Baptist Church, 50 Elm St., Picture Rocks, with Rev. Jerry Uppling, officiating. Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Muncy Cemetery.
