Gloria Marie Zuniga
October 18, 1992 — June 15, 2016
Gloria Marie Zuniga, 23, of 63 Orchard Ave., Hughesville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home.
Born October 18, 1992 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Albert S. Zuniga and Paula A. Wright, with whom she resided.
Gloria was a 2011 graduate of Hughesville High School and received her degree as a CNA from the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Johnstown.
Gloria currently worked as a cook at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center, where she previously worked as a dietary aide for three years. Gloria began her career in health care at DNA, an in-home health care provider.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoyed kayaking, swimming, watching movies, playing bingo, getting her nails done and dancing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially caring for her niece and nephews.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Hughesville are three sisters, Autumn Wright, Alicia Zuniga and Angelica Zuniga, all of Hughesville; a brother, Albert S. Zuniga, Jr., of Hughesville; maternal grandmother, Darlene Burger, of Watsontown; paternal grandparents, Gloria Sanchez and Evlalio Zuniga, of Mexico; a niece, Nevaeh; three nephews, David, Damian and Devin; and nine aunts and uncles, Randy Wright and Wendy Wright, both of Watsontown, Jessica Stenson, of FL, Shawn Wright, of NC, Argelica, Alicia and Beto Zuniga, all of Mexico and Ramon and Blanca Zuniga, both of TX.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul E. Wright and paternal step grandfather, Ronald Burger.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy and again from 10 to noon Monday at Grenoble’s, where the funeral will be held at noon on Monday. Officiating will be Rev. Jane O’Borski, pastor of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hughesville.
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
