Grace J. Christman, 87, of Lewisburg, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born June 6, 1928 in Berks County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Romig) Grim. Grace and her husband, Floyd Christman, who survives, were married July 30, 1977 and celebrated 38 years together.
Grace was a graduate of Emmaus High School. She retired in the early 1980’s from WEAllen Federal Credit Union in Western Electric, now First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union. Grace also sold and collected Avon and was part owner of the Christman Christmas tree farm in Unityville.
She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Lewisburg and the Order of the Easter Star in Whitehall.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Richard Leiby and his wife, Cathy Jo, of Bechtelsville and Robert Leiby and his wife, Margaret, of Riverside; one step daughter, Rodelle Mammano and her husband, Thomas, of Easton; two grandchildren, Michael Paul Scott and Andrew Thomas Scott; three step grandchildren; five nieces and six nephews.
The family is planning a memorial service for 10:30 a.m. Sunday April 24, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2349 Old Turnpike Rd. Lewisburg, with Rev. Gregory Kramer, officiating.
A private burial will be held in Union Cemetery, Bowers.
