Gregory Scott Buck, 42, of Williamsport, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at his home.
Born February 9, 1977 in Muncy, he was the son of Carl A. Jr. and Mary C. (Bigger) Buck.
Gregory was a 1995 graduate of Montgomery High School. He attended Penn College, Williamsport and graduated in 2001 from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Gregory was a veteran of the Marines, serving in both Military Intelligence and the Military Police. He previously worked as a corrections officer in State College and Phoenixville and as a financial analyst. Most recently, Gregory was a income maintenance worker with the Department of Human Services.
He was a member of the Bower Decker American Legion Post 251, Montgomery and the Elbow Fish and Game Club.
Gregory enjoyed going to the gym at the YMCA, Williamsport and watching football and wrestling and was an avid fan of Penn State. He loved dogs, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and children, especially watching Hallmark and lifetime movies.
Surviving in addition to his parents, of Montgomery are his wife, Marletta Buck; six children, Reigan Buck, Nafeeq Robbins and Germar Robbins, all of Williamsport, Marletta Robbins, Shearia Robbins and Shafeq Robbins, all of Philadelphia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dawn and Mike Fleming, of Jersey Shore and Wendy and Jeff Haynes, of Bel Air, MD; one nephew, Zachary Fleming; three nieces, Alexis Strouse, Taylor Fleming and Emma Haynes; one great-niece, Nova Strouse; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and the newest member of the Buck family, his dog Daisy.
Friends and family will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Cale, officiating.
