Harry R. Fritz, 90, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

He was born October 13, 1928 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Warren and Myrtle (Dennis) Fritz.  He and his wife, the former Elva Zimerman Wilson, were married January 1, 2000. Together they celebrated 19 years of marriage.

Harry was a 1947 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He then went on to graduate from the former Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in tool design. He served honorably in the United States Air Force, where he served with the strategic air command in photo reconnaissance. Harry worked as a project engineer for the former Spout Waldron, now Andritz and Young Industries, Inc.

In his spare time, Harry enjoyed hunting, cartography, photography and most of all being with his family. He also loved travelling, especially to Arizona during the winter months.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt  and Beth Fritz, of Montoursville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Denise and Denis Gingles, of Queensbury, NY, Michelle and Thom Shaheen, of Muncy and Marlene Fritz, of Hudson, NY; five grandchildren, Mitch, Leah, Blaire, Diana and Jeffrey and one great-grandson, Jackson.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Sue (Collins) Fritz, four brothers, Roland, Eston, Russell and Gordon Fritz and two sisters in infancy.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis
Streets, Lewisburg.
