Holli Jo Quinn, 62, of Williamsport, passed peacefully on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, at her home.
Born January 7th, 1961 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Emerson “J.R.” Bardo and survived by Beverly “Peach” (Bair) Bardo.
Holli was a graduate of Muncy High School, Class of 1979, where she moved on from being Homecoming Queen and head cheerleader to then earn five advanced degrees. She received her Bachelor’s from Shippensburg University, Master’s in Bible from Cairn University, Master’s in Art and Religion from Temple, Master’s in Education from Strayer University; and was most recently working on her doctorate at Capella University. Holli’s variety of careers took her from her role as a host for a Philadelphia Real Estate television show, to teaching, serving as an IRS agent, college dean, and most recently in the Title One reading program with elementary students in the South Williamsport School District. She not only loved learning, but also molding the minds of her students. She was an exquisite, brilliant, well loved, daughter, mother, and friend.
Holli is survived by her mother of Montoursville, two children, Austin and Annie Quinn of Wayne, PA, and Tara Jo and Dan Tamburello, of Langhorne; two siblings, David and Carol Bardo, of Antigo, WI and Robin Bardo, of Montoursville; and two grandchildren, Seth Emerson and Juliet Evelyn Tamburello.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 in the Muncy Cemetery, 204 E. Penn St., Muncy, with Pastor Kathy Burkhart, Unityville charge, officiating.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Holli’s name be made to the Diabetes Association, 480 W. 5th St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St, Muncy, PA.
