James N. “Jim” Fry, 84, of Cogan Station, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Embassy of Loyalsock.
He was born August 8, 1937 in Milton, a son of the late Wilson and Hazel (Watson) Fry. In 2015 he married the former Donnette Tubbs, with whom he spent 28 years together.
Jim graduated from the Williamsport Technical School, now Penn College. Early in life he worked fixing type writers and also for Roadway Express, and later retired from Brodart, Williamsport. Jim also worked doing various jobs, such as farming and roofing. He was a skilled woodworker and also built guns. Jim had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five children, J. Todd Fry (Brenda), Tammy Tubach (Gary), and Thomas Fry (Carla), all of Forksville, Teresa Fry (Tim), of New Albany and Chris Fry (Kelly), of Dushore; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Fry, and a sister, Mary Ellen Knauss.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 11 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Reece, officiating.
