Jane C. Harvey

Jane C. Harvey, 86, formerly of Glenside, died Thursday, March 19, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
She was born May 15, 1928, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Austro) Sommer. She married James Robert Harvey, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Jane graduated Little Flower High School in Philadelphia.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.
Jane was a loving mother who spent many years taking care of her family.
Surviving are her two sons, Michael Harvey, of Winfield and James L. Harvey, of Telford; six foster children, Patty Ann Joyce, Mark Joyce, Kenny Shipton, Eric Shipton (deceased), David Shipton and John Eminson; one sister, Sister Marie Natalie, SSJ; one grandson, James Andrew Harvey; and three great-grandchildren, Paige, James Daniel and Molly Harvey.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, 2316 Fairhill Ave. (at Easton Rd.), Glenside, PA 19038.
Burial will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
