Jean L. Ryan

Jean L. Ryan, 90, a longtime resident of Watsontown, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Milton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 25, 1925, in Watsontown, a daughter of the late Alan Leroy and Jennie Mae (Phillips) McCollin. Jean and her husband, Ray K. Ryan, were married March 15, 1946. Together they celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death November 25, 1999.
Jean retired from the former Jasper Wood Products, Watsontown.
She loved her dogs and enjoyed taking care of her yard.
Surviving are one sister, Beatrice Dewalt, of Milton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edward McCollin, in infancy, and John McCollin; four sisters, Shirley and Ruth Derr, Helen Lindaur and Eleanor Ryan; and one special nephew, John McCollin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Watsontown Cemetery, with Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist minister, officiating.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Warrior Run Area Fire Department, P.O. Box 8, Watsontown, PA 17777.
