Jeanette A. Colburn, 96, of Pennsdale, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Valley View in Montoursville.

She was born February 10, 1929 in Detroit Michigan, the daughter of the late James and Anna (Renkiewicz) Tysarczyk. In May 1950 she married M. Fred Colburn. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage until his passing in 1995. 

Jeanette was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She and her husband were the proprietors of the former Ice House, Lewisburg, where she was the bookkeeper. As her family grew she dedicated her time to raising and caring for them.

She was a member of Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church.

Jeanette valued her family first and spent most of her free time dedicated to them.

Survivors include her children: James Colburn of Muncy, Deborah (Harris) Menges of Watsontown, Marcia (Gary) Saam of Pennsdale, Cassandra (Jeffrey) Martin of Muncy; Grandchildren: Patrick (Kristen) Menges, Catherine Saam-Bower, Emily Saam, Thaddeus Martin, Zachary (Bethany) Martin, Benjamin (Alanna) Colburn, Timothy (Jordan) Colburn and Jacob Colburn; Great Grandchildren: Parker, Landon, Carson, Hannah, Nova, Paige, Amelia, Violet, Colt, Myles and River

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Timothy Colburn; her stepfather, Edward Hutchinson; and two brothers, Edward and John.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
