Jeremy D. Matthews, 34, of Middleburg, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2017.
Born in Lewisburg on November 18, 1982, he was the son of Suzette L. (Trissler) Matthews, of Middleburg and the late Dean D. “Bud” Matthews.
Jeremy graduated from the welding program at SUN Area Technical Institute, New Berlin in 2001.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and horseback riding.
Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Jeremy is survived by three sons, Shawn Matthews, of Selinsgrove, Tristan Matthews, of Middleburg and Cody Heimbach, of Selinsgrove; one step daughter, Ashley Snook, of Middleburg and his paternal grandmother, Ruth Dunkelberger, of Middleburg.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the Grace Covenant Community Church, 99 Café Ln., Middleburg, where the funeral will be held at 7, with Pastor Arden Steiner, officiating.
The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
