Johnnie Ray Krauter, 69, of Muncy, died Friday, July 16, 2021, at his home.

Born August 25, 1951, in Anchorage, Alaska, he was a son of the late Robert Leon and Jean (Cleck) Krauter. On July 8, 1999, he married the former Peggy Booth, who survives. Together they celebrated 22 years of marriage.

Johnnie was a graduate of Boyertown High School and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He later worked as a welder at Young Industries, Muncy.

Johnnie was an avid coin collector and had a deep love for music.  He also enjoyed classic cars and antiques.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Jharid (Jaymee Vitullo) Krauter, of Pittsburgh, PA; two daughters, Vhanessa Krauter, of Jersey City, NJ, and Natasha McCobin, of Muncy, PA; two brothers and one sister, Ronnie (Cleo) Krauter, of Boyertown, PA, Kathy (Tom Karoleski) Cleary, of Boyertown, PA and Pete (Vicky) Krauter, of Milton, PA; and six grandchildren, Jacob and Johnnie Krauter, and Tyliq, Tanaya, Myannah and Khamiyah.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother in infancy, Robert Krauter.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
