Joseph A. "Joe" Harding

Joseph A. “Joe” Harding, 53, of 210 Katie Lane, Montoursville, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his home.

Born June 17, 1963 in Brockton, Mass., he was a son of Anthony W. and Carol Marie (Howe) Harding, of Montoursville.

Joe was a 1982 graduate of Neshaminy Maple Point High School and a graduate of technical school, where he received his degree in HVAC. At an early age he began working in one of fourteen of his family run seafood restaurants in Langhorne, PA, where he progressed from cook to manager. Joe moved to Vermont, where he worked as a HVAC Technician for 10 years, before moving to be with his family in Montoursville.

He loved carpentry work, fishing and tying flies. Joe held a passion for music, which inspired him to teach himself how to play numerous guitars. He enjoyed teasing his older brothers and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews who affectionately called him Uncle King Joey.

Surviving in addition to his parents are five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Anthony W. Jr. and Karen Harding, of Williamsport, Ralph B. Harding, of Gillette, Wyoming, William T. and Bernadette Harding, of Fairless Hills, PA, David M. and Arlene Harding and Mark J. and Becky Harding, all of Williamsport; eight nieces and nephews, Amanda, Alanna, Doug, Ralph, Jr., Danielle, Melissa, Zoey and Zack; and three great nephews, Dominic, Benjamin and Jordan.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
