Judith Eileen Boyer, 76, of Watsontown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her home.

She was born May 2, 1940 in New Columbia, a daughter of the late Willis and Pauline (Hoffman) Hause. On March 12, 1960, she married Robert Boyer "Barber Bob" and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before his death on May 22, 2008.

Judith was a 1958 graduate of Milton High School.  She worked for a short time at the former B.O. Daubert, Lewisburg.  She later spent her days raising and taking care of her family.

Judith was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Columbia, where she was the choir director and organist.

Early in life she enjoyed bowling in her ladies league in Milton.  She was also a girl scout leader and den mother.   Judith loved spending time in her yard, growing flowers and listening to music.

Her faith was also very important to her as was evident by her teaching of Sunday school through the years.  She was also active with her sisters and niece in their own Christian singing group.

Judith was an avid sports fan and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State.  Most important to her was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, Brenda Boyer, of Watsontown; Bradley Boyer and wife, Denise, of Watsontown, Barbara Culp and husband, Michael, of New Columbia, and Beverly Molinaro and husband, David, of Warren; three sisters, Barbara Prowant and husband, James, of Wellsboro, Patricia Fry and husband, Dan, of New Columbia, and Charlotte Reynolds and husband, John, of White Deer; one brother, Richard Hause and wife, Sue, of White Deer; eight grandchildren, Noelle Kinney, Michele Figueroa, Benjamin Felix, Mindy Dull, Dominic and Anthony Molinaro, and Miranda and Alex Boyer; and three great-grandchildren, Grace Kinney, and Isabella and Donovan Figueroa.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Bonnie Boyer; and two grandsons, Cody Culp and Derrick Dull.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Watsontown Baptist Church,  501 Main St., Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Ritter, officiating.

Burial will follow in Watsontown Cemetery.

The family will provide flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Judith's name be made to the DJD Fight on Foundation, which is an organization created in honor of her grandson to help local families that are battling cancer.  Donations can be sent to 200 N.
