June Marie Treibley, 83, of 166 Bluejay Lane, New Columbia, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.

She was born June 1, 1930 in Lewisburg, the daughter of Frank L. and Ida M. (Mabus) Dodd.  On September 28, 1951 she married Charles Edwin Treibley, Sr., who survives.  Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.

June was a 1948 graduate of Lewisburg High School.  She worked as a secretary at Bucknell, the former J.P.M. Industries, Lewisburg, and later retired from the former Milton Shoe Factory.

She was a member of St Paul’s United Methodist Church, Lewisburg.

June enjoyed gardening, birds and antiques.  She was also very fond of her doll houses her husband built for her.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and Bill Batdorf, of Watsontown and Marie Englehart, of Montandon; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles “Ed” Treibley, Jr.; and one grandson, William Batdorf III.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with her pastor, Rev. Judi A. Dunkelberger, officiating, assisted by Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist pastor.

Burial will follow in Church Hill Cemetery at Twin Churches, Kelly Township.
