Karen A. Koch, 69, of 265 Hoffman Blvd., West Milton, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at her home.
She was born April 8, 1945 in Mahoning Twp., the daughter of the late James Willard and Anne Dorothy (Donovan) Royer. On May 25, 1968, she married Rodney Koch, who survives. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Karen was a 1963 graduate of Lewisburg High School and a graduate of the Maryland Medical Secretarial College, Hagerstown, MD. She worked at various jobs in Lewisburg including the former outlet store for Pennsylvania House Furniture, in the food service department at Evangelical Community Hospital, Champion Shoe and in housekeeping at County Cupboard.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Karen loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She supported her grandchildren at many of their events including softball games, gymnastics, chorus and band. She also loved to go shopping.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Theresa Koch, of New Columbia and Bryan and Jen Koch, of West Milton; and four grandchildren, Katie, McKenzie, Kara and Taylor Koch.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second & St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Karen's memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 1420 N. Susquehanna Trail, Selinsgrove, PA 17870.
