Katherine K. Grenoble, 95, of Mifflinburg, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Milton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 18, 1928 in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Elizabeth (Noll) Katherman. Katherine and her husband, Donald Grenoble, were married in the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church on July 1, 1951, by Rev. Clarence Johnson.  Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage until Donald's death on January 24, 2002.

Katherine was a 1946 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and 1947 graduate of the Pennsylvania Business College.  She worked at the Capitol in Harrisburg, the former Lewisburg Chair and Furniture Company and JPM Industries, Lewisburg, and the former IGA Market, Mifflinburg.

Katherine attended Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.

She was a charter member of women of the Moose, Mifflinburg, where she earned her College of Regent Degree and served on other committees.  She was also a former member of Club 39, Mifflinburg and the New Berlin Homemakers.

Katherine enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, taking bus trips earlier in life and spending time at her mobile home by the river.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Grenoble, of Watsontown and Timothy Grenoble and his companion Suzanne Phillips, of Carlisle; one niece, Amy Kohut, of New York and one nephew, Peter Kohut, of New Jersey; two cousins, Franklin Noll, and Gary Noll and his wife, Paula, all of Danville; and spouse of a cousin, Deborah Noll, of Danville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Kohut; and one cousin, Michael Noll

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be held in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.

The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
