Kenneth S. Moore

Kenneth S. Moore, 91, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.

Born on April 15, 1933 in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Sutton) Moore. On September 7, 1957 he married the former Sally Keithan who predeceased him on January 12, 2015.

Kenneth graduated high school in Emporium and served honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked at JC Penney where he started as an associate and retired as store manager. Following retirement, Kenneth worked at Weis Markets, Lewisburg.

He formerly attended Beaver Memorial United Methodist Church, and more recently St. John’s UCC, both of Lewisburg.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Julie) Moore, of California, and Craig Moore, of Arizona; and two grandchildren Jonathan and Jason Moore.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one son, Richard Moore; and one brother, Ronald Moore.

A graveside service will be held at Noon on Friday, March 21 in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, 900 Packer Street, Sunbury.
