Larry E. Klusman, 70, of Montgomery, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his home.

Born December 4, 1945, in Montgomery, he was a son of the late William A. Klusman and M. Evelyn (Derrick) Murphy. On December 6, 1968, he married the former Joyce F. Lupold, who survives. Together they celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Larry was a 1965 graduate of Montgomery High School.  He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.  Following his time in the service, Larry worked for the former Montgomery Mills and C.A. Reed, Williamsport.  He later retired from Walmart, Lewisburg.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Larry was a member of the Bower-Decker Post 251 American Legion, Montgomery.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially fishing and camping at his river lot.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Tomyla and David Deem, of Montgomery and Kimberly and Benjamin Mueller, of Michigan; one brother and sister-in-law, William A. Sr. and Joyce Klusman, of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Delayna and Devon Deem, and Zachary Mueller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a stepfather, Robert Murphy.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Arlene P. Beechert, officiating.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
